NEXT LOCAL EVENT:
Our next Professional Development Meeting will be a plant tour of The Harloff Company. Harloff manufactures medical carts and cabinets such as crash carts, anesthesia workstations, casting-splinting carts, infection control carts, treatment carts, medication carts, and narcotic cabinets. The tour will start at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10th. Dinner from Bird Dog BBQ will follow the tour and the price to attend will be $24 for members and non-members and $12 for students.

In March we will have a joint meeting with the Southern Colorado NAPM (National Association of Purchasing Managers). Details for this meeting will be posted here in February, 2012.

The APICS CPIM gives you the tools you need to protect your organization's bottom line and cash flow. Earn this highly recognized designation and enhance your career value and professional marketability. APICS Pikes Peak Chapter will offer two CPIM review courses starting in January, 2011. You can begin your certification preparations with the Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) course, or continue with Detailed Scheduling and Planning (DSP). Your paid registration is due by January 10, 2011, for either course. BSCM classes will begin the week of January 24 continuing for 10 weekly meetings, and DSP will begin the week of January 31 for 9 weekly meetings.
