Mike
Heath's background is in information systems. He has 35 years
experience working closely with materials personnel developing
and supporting the systems used for forecasting, master planning,
MRP, shop floor control, and inventory control. He managed the
installation of a new manufacturing system at Current before assuming
his present duties in information technology at Colorado Springs
Utilities. A CFPIM since 1983, Mike is beginning his 14th year
on the board of directors of APICS Pikes Peak Chapter, where he
has been treasurer, director of membership, president, and vice
president of education. He has been teaching CPIM review courses
for 11 years.

Don Simpson is the current President of the APICS Pikes Peak Chapter. He holds CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification. Don has also earned masters degrees in business (MBA) and education (MEd). After retirement from the US Army, Don worked as a Program Manager at SCI/Sanmina-SCI for over five years. He then served on an Oracle transition team at Sanmina-SCI, followed by over two years as a master scheduler at the same employer. Don is currently a Production Control Analyst for Honeywell’s Satellite Control Network Contract.
